That appears to be the case. I believe that shift-mouse and
ctrl-mouse handling was added to the gpmmouse.c to make it consistent
as much as possible with Xjed and jed under DOS/Windows. I suspect
that Alt-mouse key can be used to bypass jed. It will take me a few
days before I can actually test this hypothesis.
Perhaps I should add some gpm-specific function that allows the user
to specify what events should be trapped by jed, e.g., shift-mouse.
In any case, at the moment I do not regard the problem as a bug but
more of a wishlist item. Of course, jed's handling of gpm events can
be turned off via the gpm_disable_mouse function.
